ADS AND MAGAZINES DUE MONDAY 3/12!

This week marks the week before the concert, and therefore will be the final opportunity to sell and submit your ads for this event.  All ads and booster forms will be due by the end of the evening rehearsal on Monday, March 12th so that they can be properly formatted and included in the program.  Students can continue to sell ads; however any that come in after the due date will be included in the  journal for the May concert only.  In addition, all magazine fundraisers will be due this week as well so that we can prepare all of the orders to be sent back to the company in a timely fashion.  If students were not able to sell any magazine subscriptions they can just fill out the booklet with names of friends and family to be mailed at a later time.

Thank you to all of the family, community members, and businesses who have supported our students through the ads initiative and magazine sales fundraisers!  Your support of our students is greatly appreciated!

CONCERT DONATIONS FOR RECEPTION

This month’s concert will be held on Thursday, March 15th, and will be an evening of classical music prepared by the concert band and wind ensemble.  We are looking for donations of baked goods, and water for the students and audience to enjoy at the reception which will follow the concert.  Any donations can be brought in as early as Monday, March 5th.  Any parents interested in helping out our concert committee with the reception and/or other preparations for the March 15 concert should contact Mr. Puchinsky or Mrs. Mason.

DINNER AND A CONCERT – MARCH 15TH 

On the 15th, the BHS Concert band will be performing at the high school for their annual Spring Concert.  That will be the second day of a two-day Dining for Dollars Event (3/14 & 3/15), established by the Bayonne High School Band Foundation, so we decided to make it a dinner and a concert event!

We encourage the community to enjoy dinner and a show Thursday night by heading over to the Alexander X. O’Conner Auditorium in Bayonne High School and after having dinner at Chris’ Corner. The cast of the show will be present, as well as teachers and parents. Support our children at both venues; patrons just need to mention to the staff at Chris’ Corner they are dining  to support the BHS Band Foundation. Owners Philip and Marie Crisonino have pledged 15% of each check to benefit the organization and this donation applies to dine in, pickup and delivery. Make your reservations now to enjoy some delicious Italian cuisine complimented by a classical program performed by Bayonne’s finest musicians!
