Meeting called to order by the President at 7:00 p.m. in the BHS Band Room
Dining for Dollars:
Mona Lisa event set up and ready to go.
Tentative list as follows:
Mona Lisa, Panda Express, Qdoba, TGIF, Mama Rosa, Café Bello, and Amici’s.
Everyone is in agreement to run free ads in the journal thanking each restaurant.
Journal Ad’s will be used at fundraiser and top sellers will win incentive prizes.
Chris moved to change the Great Adventure prize to top 2 fundraisers receive a season pass and 3-4-5 will receive a one-day pass. Elyse seconded the motion.
50/50- Car Magnet Sale:
All in agreement to table both fundraisers and focus all energy on selling Journal Ad’s since they are 100% profit.
Dana- Volunteered to chair the committee in part with New York Sports Club, will include students/friends/families. Board agreed to table this idea until after the trip- will be re-visited.
Magazine Sale/ Chocolate:
Serge & Dana- Suggested to advertise this fundraiser to Doctor’s offices, have them renew their current subscriptions with the band.
Board in agreement to veto the chocolate sale.
Serge- told the board that the mayor recommend the band to take part in the 2013 Memorial Day Parade in Washington DC.
Energy Fundraising Presentation:
Viridian representative Lou DiDonato presented the board with information about Viridian.
All in agreement to proceeded with this fundraiser.
Colleen motioned and Mike seconded.
Serge motioned to adjourn meeting at 8:54 Elyse seconded the motion.
